 Ronald F Richardson

Ronald F. Richardson, age 76, of Remus passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Bay Special Care Hospital in Bay City.

Ron was born on November 26, 1940 to Lester C and Nellie A (Maxon) Richardson at Broomfield Township. Ron and Beth Ann (Schoner) Richardson spent 27 years together; they were married on Sept 29, 1989 in Mt. Pleasant. He drove delivery truck for Farmers Petroleum Cooperative for 37 years, retiring on Oct 16, 2000. Ron was valued by all of his customers and he would make a delivery anytime so they would not run out.

Ron was extremely proud of his 755 John Deere compact tractor, which he would plow snow, do landscaping, develop roads and trails and mowed everyone’s lawn for over 18 years. He made over 200 log cabin doll houses and old fashion barns. Ron was an avid buck hunter and he loved the whitetail.

Ron is survived by his wife Beth Ann; children, David Richardson, Rhonda (Jim) Bartlett and Jodie Lynn Richardson; grandchildren, Niki (Josh) Harris, Kasey Jo Ridings and Ryan (Hannah) Ridings; great grandchildren, Keira and Jace; siblings, Robert (Roberta) Richardson, Dwain (Evelyn) Richardson, Janice (Edwin) Renkie, Patricia (Ronald) Smith and brother-in-law, William Bailey.

Ron was preceded in death by his mom and dad; wife Arlene (Johnson) Richardson in 1986, his little partner “Snoopy”; and sister, Marilyn Bailey.

Per Ron’s request no service will be held at this time.
